Glam ‘N’ Glitz is Scarborough’s premier showbar, harking back to the grand but sadly now diminishing days of cabaret and theatre clubs.

The showbar is large enough to seat 100 people in comfort but retains a personal feel with the majority of seating not being more than 20 feet from the stage. The room features a state of the art sound and lighting system that puts some larger venues and theatres in the shade and is expertly operated with years of experience within the field of sound and light engineering.

Famous for its Saturday night drag spectacular featuring the UK’s most highly acclaimed drag queens, the show regularly features the comedy and impression talents of the likes of Lexy Legs, Adrian James and Blanch Deveraux and includes some of the most spectacular dance and choreography to add excitement and awe. This is all combined with an extensive wardrobe of some of the funniest and most dazzling costumes to embellish the stage.

Also on Saturday’s resident soul and Motown duo: “Big Soul” appear, offering the best in showmanship and vocal abilities and perform some of the most popular songs ever written.

Other nights at the Glam N Glitz Showbar are also extremely popular, with the likes of Karaoke and “Crazy Bingo”, quiz’s and many more types of fun and games, expertly hosted by a range of resident compares these nights are guaranteed to have you coming back for more.

Of course one of our biggest nights is the live music night which takes place on a weekly basis through the main season. Glam N Glitz is proud to host some of the best musical and vocal talent in the country with the kind of high calibre performers not usually seen around the area.

These performances range from West End Stars to Meatloaf tribute acts and are booked through one of the countries foremost entertainment agents.
